Coupons for Online Purchases

I have found a great site to help save money on online purchases.

It's called Find Savings and they have coupons for some of the brand name stores we are all familiar with.

For instance, I looked at Target on the Find Savings site, and found eight different coupons!

A few stores I found were Target, WalMart, Best Buy, Old Navy, and Overstock.com.

They also have a category section, which I liked. I clicked on hobbies and found quite a few stores I've never heard of. For me, that means more unique scrapbooking supplies!!

Not only can you get coupon codes for merchandise, but there are lots of sites for car rentals, airplane tickets, cruises, food, restaurants, vitamins, wine, movies, jewelry, photos and even flowers.

We really need to buy a new fireplace insert. These are not cheap, but I found one at Electric Fireplace Direct, much cheaper than we have found anywhere else!

Reasons why I like Find Savings:

1. The site is easy to use, surf, and is not cluttered.

2. You can find any store you are looking for easily because they are in alphabetical order.

3. They have a search option to find your favorite store faster.

With the upcoming holidays and back to school, you will be able to find a coupon for just about anything you need from tons of different stores. And, the truth is, with gas prices still high, why not just shop from home? You'll save your gas, save with online coupons and possibly even get free shipping.

Grocery Savings: Are Coupons Worth My Time? (Part 1) by Daniel Pereira

What your opinions about what he talked about???

Zenni Optical is Still Selling Prescription Glasses as Low as $8!!

I was sure this great deal for eyeglasses was over with, but I was wrong.

I recently watched a news segment where a mom bought several pair of prescription glasses for her son from Zenni Optical. She was tired of him loosing or breaking his glasses on a regular basis and wanted a cheaper alternative than buying those expensive glasses. She was thrilled with her purchases and even her son's eye doctor gave Zenni Optical a thumbs up.

If you need a new pair of glasses, why don't you give Zenni Optical a try? They sell a huge selection of frames, with single vision lens, sunsensor (potochromic)lens, tinted sunglasses lens, bifocal lens and progressive lens.

Clark, from The Clark Howard show, has recently ordered three pairs of glasses from Zenni and is raving about them.

Zenni Optical can afford to sell you high-quality prescription glasses for low prices because they sell directly to you and have no middleman.

Here's an example of their great selection:

These are only $29.95 and at that price, you could order several pair of eyeglasses!

With the price of everything else going up and up, it's nice to know that you can get something at a decent price. Visit Zenni today and see what great styles they have to offer you.

Snowflaking

Remember this post about snowflaking?

I was doing so great! It was thrilling to feel like I was actually contributing to our bill paying, when I was earning money online.

I'm still earning money online through PayPal and CashCrate. However, we have seemed to endure a few extra bills that were not in our budget lately. (extra vacation expenses due to a funeral, a flat tire, a new tire, sick child and medication that was over $100, etc, etc.)

So, until we are caught up again and I can start snowflaking on my credit card, I'm going to put my money into our checking account.

I believe in snowflaking tremendously and can't wait to get that bill paid off!

Vacation and a Great WalMart Trip

We are finally home. It was a long trip. We left last Saturday morning (July 26th) and spent the week with my in-laws. I think we'd all agree that spending the day at Lake Michigan was the best. The weather was perfect and the beach was very nice. You could actually walk pretty far out and it was still shallow enough for the kids.

My brother-in-law died, so my dh and mother-in-law drove to Maryland for the funeral. I packed up the kids and headed to spend time with my family. It was a blast. We all had such a good time.

We arrived home late last night and I'm ready to get back into the swing of things. I was sad that I missed a great sale last week at Publix. Oh well.

The rest of this week will be spent getting ready for school, which we will start on Monday and organizing a fundraiser for our youth group at church.

Just for fun, here's a great deal I got at Wal-Mart the day before we left.
